Dr. Kimberly Maino is a double board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeon. Dr. Maino is committed to providing the highest quality professional skin care in a warm, friendly, and compassionate environment. Her formal education and training includes:
- United States Naval Academy: Annapolis, MD (Annapolis, MD) – BS, Oceanography
- Medical University of South Carolina (Charleston, SC) – Doctor of Medicine
Dr. Maino held a variety of service positions while receiving her education, progressing from the ranks of midshipman to assistant range officer to flight surgeon. Her extensive efforts in the service have earned her awards and recognition such as the Navy Commendation Medal, the Navy Achievement Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, the National Defense Service Medal with a Gold Star, and the Meritorious Unit Commendation with a Gold Star. She also has held the esteemed honor of being a dermatology consultant at the White House, where she provided a monthly clinic.
Dr. Maino is a fellow of the following professional societies: the American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS), the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), the Women’s Dermatology Society (WDS), and the Association of Military Dermatologists (AMD).
In her free time, Dr. Maino enjoys training for triathlons, running, biking, hiking, skiing, and spending time with her husband, daughter, and their 120lb Bernese mountain dog, Atlas.
